eCommerce Website Design for Veteran-Owned, Outdoor Gear Company
Cordova Outdoors is an outdoor product manufacturer specializing in coolers and based in Nampa, Idaho. Their coolers are made locally at their factory in Idaho with domestically sourced materials. They also make drinkware, bags, and other gear for outdoor adventures.
While based in Idaho, they’re named after the town Cordova, Alaska which is a remote city that relies heavily on nature, resilience, and determination which are all the backbone of Cordova Outdoors.
Cordova Outdoors wanted a new website in order to increase revenue. They were especially focused on creating a better user experience for their website visitors. Their previous website lacked the ability to tell their brand story and differentiate them from their competitors.
We outlined the below goals for the website redesign:
- Improve the user experience of their website so that it’s easier for guest to make purchases
- Tell the Cordova story through design and copy on the site
- Differentiate Cordova Outdoors from their competitors
Our design team included hand-drawn elements on the site to convey the outdoor feel and the story behind the brand.
For the Cordova Outdoors website, we used a combination of Fusion and BigCommerce. Fusion allows the client to easily update the content in their website to keep it fresh and seasonal, while BigCommerce allows the client to easily manage their products.
The functionality made for a user-friendly website that conveys the Cordova Outdoors story more clearly so that they can stand out from their competitors.
