eCommerce Website for Garden Centers in California & Georgia

Armstrong Garden Centers is based in California with a sister garden center in Georgia. We were lucky enough to work on both of these sites for them. They focus on taking the guesswork out of gardening and offer a variety of eCommerce options directly on their website. Their team members pride themselves on quality and their ability to educate customers on all their gardening and landscaping needs.

Project Objectives

For this website, we wanted the two sister company sites to have a similar look and feel. Our main goals included:

• Carrying over design elements like fonts and colors from the two sites
• Create informative product pages with unique icons

Website Design

To convey how these garden centers provide education and helpful information to their customers, we made sure the product pages were as detailed as possible and included newly designed icons. 

Website Build

We used BigCommerce for their website and incorporated a custom field import tool (built by the team here at efelle), FreshClick product filtering, Modern Retail for inventory management and a connection with their in-store POS system. Modern retail also manages the in-store pickup and local delivery functions.
