eCommerce Website for The Pack Shack
The Pack Shack started in 1985 when Karen, the owner and founder, noticed that there was a lack of gear that wildland firefighters need. The Pack Shack focuses on high-quality craftsmanship from their group of dedicated sewers and superior customer service.
The Pack Shack wanted a new logo and branding that spoke to the outdoorsy nature of their products. They also wanted an update to their website that provided a modernization while staying true to their roots.
The new logo and colors drew on earth tones and paid homage to the old version of the logo while still updating The Pack Shack to a more modern look. Our design team really focused on getting across the environmentally conscious feel of their brand while connecting it back to the many years of history that The Pack Shack has.
For The Pack Shack website, we used a combination of Fusion and BigCommerce. Fusion really allowed them to manage all their non-product content in semi-custom layouts. BigCommerce organized and displayed the categories and product details while also managing the entire check out process. We like to use this approach for an eCommerce website that will have elements outside of just the purchasing options.
