Law Firm Web Design for Seattle Firm Post Merger
Miller Nash is a law firm primarily based in Seattle with locations in Portland, Long Beach, Vancouver, Wash. and a virtual presence in Anchorage. The current iteration of the firm came about from the merger of Portland-based Miller Nash and Seattle-based Graham & Dunn announced in 2014.
With over 140 attorneys across a variety of industry and practice areas, they have the depth and bench strength to handle the most complex litigation work.
"It became apparent after we began the development of our new website that an open source platform was not going to give us the features and design flexibility that we needed. efelle was brought in and it changed everything. Not only does LawFirmFusion give us the features and ease of use that we had asked for, but it also offered additional enhancements that have made our website that much better.
The LawFirmFusion platform continues to add features, making it a CMS that will continue to grow and add value to our site."
This redesign was one of the final steps in showing a unified brand after the 2014 merger. In fact, we started this project back in 2018 and focused on future-forward design so that things wouldn’t need to be updated before the launch. The result is a robust site that that withstood years of process and development.
Our main goals included:
- New branding for the merger and rename
- Emphasizing the services this industry-specific law firm provided throughout the site
- Creating a website that is professional, customized, streamlined
This site was all about conveying the professionalism of Miller Nash with the design and also establishing the new branding after this big merger.
The Miller Nash website is built on FusionCMS and was fully customized for their needs along with several related databases.
We also built a custom “Representative Matters” module that displays some of the most important or interesting cases that attorneys have participated in. In this module, the cases can be organized, referenced, and exported on the back-end which makes things easy for the Miller Nash team.
