The Dental Files' user-focused interface gives the ability to create detailed profiles, and conduct advanced searches which makes filling positions easy and quick. The new Dental Files website is defining the future of how dentists and dental professionals find their dream teams.
The Dental Files Design & Development Details
The Dental Files asked us to design and build a site that would bring their dream platform to life. The results of our teams’ collaboration included a logo, an interim “splash page,” and a fully responsive website that balances exuberance and professionalism. Refreshing blue and cool grays are foundational of to the design’s color scheme; taken together with the new logo and web interface, these elements present an elegant and modern aesthetic that helps guide the user toward finding the exact information they need.
The new website brings dentists and every facet of their industry together in one location. Our team placed strong emphasis on forming the best possible user journey. User journeys are the paths users take when they interact with a new product; they involved where the users are coming from, what they click on, where they get stuck, what their pain points are, and when they bounce (aka, leave the site altogether). Dentists tend to have busy schedules—identifying pain points on their behalf prior to and during the design process allowed us to create an easy-to-use platform tailored to their needs.
Our FusionCMS allows The Dental Files web team to easily update content throughout the site and keep users updated, including sharing helpful resources (blogs) with the community, spotlighting their team members, and easily swapping out the calls-to-action featured throughout the site.
The Content Management System also allows The Dental Files team to create new landing pages to highlight their services and add meta data for each, optimizing their organic search engine optimization (SEO) for their audience while keeping user experience in mind.
Custom search and filtering power the dentist, dental professional, and dental company directories. This allows users to access and refine their searches for other users in the directory in a simple and organized format. Users can search by current job status and desired employee type including hygienist, front desk, assistant, associate dentist and even current student. At the same time, users can update their current hiring status so that employees know whether they should reach out to them or not.
Emails automatically notify users when they’ve signed up, prompt them to verify their account, and lead them back to log in, edit, and list their new profile in The Dental Files directory.
The Commerce add-on module for FusionCMS allows The Dental Files team to create plans for their users to subscribe via Stripe. Subscriptions ultimately offer another level of security to the website, allowing customers access to specific pages and content while securing their information behind best-in-class security tools and practices.
