Holmquist Hazelnut Orchards is a family-owned and operated farm that has existed in Washington State for the last five generations. They pride themselves on having perfected the process of growing and processing hazelnuts so that every nut is fresh and flavorful.

Goals for eCommerce Redesign

For this eCommerce website redesign, our goals included:

• Create a cleaner user experience
• Highlight the themes of the Pacific Northwest, agriculture, and family-oriented parts of the brand
• Incorporate a variety of plugins for the WordPress + WooCommerce site

Website Design & Functionality Highlights

For the design of this eCommerce website, we focused on creating an improved user experience. The look of the site spoke to the freshness of the hazelnuts and the Pacific Northwest location.

For the development of this eCommerce site, we used a templated WordPress website aloned with WooCommerce. The site also included a variety of plugins: Elementor as page builder, Contact Form 7 for contact forms, Mailchimp integration, Points and Rewards for WooCommerce for loyalty points, PW WooCommerce Gift Cards Pro for gift card purchases, Wholesale for WooCommerce for the subscription portal and wholesale pricing, WooCommerce Subscriptions for subscription purchases, and WP Store Locator to show brick and mortar locations.
