Our Website Design for Law Firm SGB Has Won a W3 Award!
This year we took home four different W3 Awards in a number of different categories, one of which was for our beautiful website design for Schroeter Goldmark & Bender Law. We took home a silver for Law & Legal Services for Websites!

SGB is one of the PNW’s premier trial law firms. They have over 260 trial victories and over 40 years of experience serving their clients. They often take on game-changing lawsuits and aren’t afraid to fight against massive, faceless companies for their clients.
Website Design for Top Law Firm
We started the process by looking at the sitemap and navigation. Once we had a better understanding of the clients that SGB serves and how they were looking to use the site, we decided to simplify the navigation from what it previously was and make it easier for users to find what they’re looking for. We show off their primary practice areas right on the homepage, as well as on the main menu.
In their line of work, it’s crucial to build trust with their clients, and that can start right on the homepage with design. The site uses personable imagery, as well as powerful content to build trust right off the bat. We included sections on the homepage to show their winning record, a section highlighting Why SGB, and testimonials from actual clients. We also used strong verbiage including “Law with a Purpose,” “First Rate Lawyers, First Rate Results,” and “The Will and Experience to Succeed,” which states right off the bat how the SGB team is willing to work hard to help their clients succeed.
The site design also includes pages that highlight the team at SGB, allowing users to put a face to a name. With content being such an important part of their practice as a law firm, we also created other great pages that are unique to the firm like the Community, Class Actions, and Results pages. The Community page provides a high-level overview of some of the organizations that the SGB team supports, showing their true commitment to bettering their community. We also designed out the Class Actions and Results page to show high-level information about current class action lawsuits they’re fighting as well as the results they’ve seen.
