Freshly Launched—Stylish and Professional Website for Bellevue Massage School
Website for Bellevue-Based Massage Therapy Training Company is at Once Elegant and Approachable
Bellevue Massage School has been training students in the arts of all things massage therapy for 40 years. They recently added skincare education to their roster of programs and have a solid partnership with Seattle’s own Bastyr University.
They asked efelle creative to design and develop a UX-friendly website that is as attractive as it is informative for their growing business. They wanted to increase applications—getting more students into seats—and project their business as an authoritative force in their industry.
Design and Development Notes
Our design efforts centered on creating a website that is warm and approachable, but also credible. We enhanced the BMS logo by swapping the bright yellow for a softer gold. The renewed logo not only feels more modern, it also acted as the primary inspiration source for the colors used throughout the website. The teals and gold act as accent colors to highlight important information blocks and point users to applying for BMS’s programs.
We developed the site on FusionCMS, a content management system that makes updating websites a cinch. BMS can update their course listings with a few clicks, and no code is required to have these additional pieces reflect the styles and elements found on other pages within that content area. Custom forms can be brought into relevant pages and themselves are easy to adjust and view.
