Seattle-Bellevue Construction Firm HST Has A Beautiful New Website

HST Construction is a Seattle based business serving both the city and Bellevue for the past 10 years. They have been providing tenant improvements, transforming the spaces for some of the top companies in the Puget Sound region. 

Website Design Needs

The team at HST wanted to make the most out of their website, so it was designed and built to be extremely flexible. The site uses neutral greys and whites to keep things clean looking, while their signature green acts as an accent. We used large imagery to highlight their work and show the people behind the projects. 

We wanted the site to be innovative and professional, while also being approachable and friendly, so we worked to create some exciting elements, such as the split-screen masthead and the hovering menu. These create visual interest and interactivity, without taking away from the client’s content. 

Construction website design has some necessary elements, including project portfolios. For HST, we wanted to highlight both the work as well as the details and clients they’ve been able to partner with. Each project page has standard information about the client, project size, architect, and the location, as well as the custom project description. There are also large-scale photos that show off the projects and work done. 

Website Development 

The site is one of the most flexible we’ve built. We worked with the HST team to find their exact needs and learn exactly how they planned on using the CMS. This allowed us to create an extremely flexible design, letting them turn modules on and off and adjust as needed. With their goals in mind, we were able to use FusionCMS to build a site that is simultaneously powerful, easy to update, and custom-designed. 

With new projects happening often, it was important that the site had automatic PDF generation built-in for the project profiles, The PDFs automatically update and are added with new projects, making it easy for potential clients to download the project information and keep HST top of mind.
