Set Your Sights on Kryptek's New eCommerce Site
We Recently Launched an eCommerce Website for Industry Leaders in Outdoor Adventure Apparel, Kryptek.
Founded on a bond formed through combat, Kryptek is the only military tested camouflage on the market. Using their years of combat experience, they developed a technical line of functional, durable, dependable, and reliable hunting apparel to fill the gap.
The Kryptek team came to us looking for a new website that would generate more traffic and raise conversion rates, and show off their brand in a more intriguing and engaging way. We were stoked to collaborate with their team to create a new store that showed off who they really are. 
Their products can be found in Cabela’s and other outdoor gear retailers, but their eCommerce store is equally important for their business and our team was eager to create a more user friendly shopping experience for their online users.
The Process: Marketing Strategy & Website Design
We began the process meeting with the Kryptek team to walk through their current website and marketing strategies. From there we creating buyer personas to guide our designs and understand what type of user was on their site and how they interacted with the brand. After researching and forming five different target buyer personas, we presented them to the team and took the most crucial key takeaways and applied them to our design process, marketing strategy, and development considerations.
Obviously quality is a huge differentiating factor, but Kryptek’s camouflage is another one of their competitive advantages, which meant we needed a site that showed off their personality, while also letting the different patterns shine through.
Development Achievements
Our team used BigCommerce to power the eCommerce engine of this site, paired with FusionCMS to manage content. This combination allowed for dynamic content pages with a streamlined shopping experience. 
With BigCommerce, it’s easy for the Kryptek team to add new categories as they create new patterns, add more apparel, and grow their line.
This also allows for the multiple different categorizations of their products as well. For Kryptek, it was important to allow their users to sort by type of product, camo pattern, and also through their partner gear. BigCommerce allows for products to be in multiple categories, making it easy for both the Kryptek team to manage and their users to find what they need.
Using FusionCMS, we were able to build out robust pages to tell them Kryptek teams story. The Kryptek team has a huge team of ProStaff that we wanted to create individual profiles for - these allowed for pictures, biographies, facts, and aliases for the Prostaff.
We are excited to watch their business grow on a platform that will expand as their needs grow!
