DragonWear & TrueNorth's websites get new design to match their new technology
DragonWear, a company local to Seattle, offers innovative clothing for those who need it. All DragonWear FR fabrics are inherently flame resistant, tested in both in-house and independent state-of-the-art laboratories, and pass relevant industry certifications. TrueNorth offers compression based fabrics that are highly used by those working in outdoor based jobs, specifically fire-fighting. We had previously designed DragonWear & TrueNorth’s websites, but this time they wanted to refresh their site to allow for more interactive features as well as the ability to maintain new content they had created, including informative and exciting videos featuring their products.
Design Needs
When DragonWear first reached out to us for a redesign, they wanted a website that reflected the innovation that their products offered as well as having a product centric focus that is also easy to navigate. They were hoping for a better way to display and show off the products as well as design a way to include their growing video library. As a website that only sells through dealers, they were wanting a website that used our eCatalog module so it displayed the products and was informative and had a clear call to action, allowing shoppers to easily “find a dealer.” DragonWear and TrueNorth began creating seasonal informational videos that they wanted to be easily visible in the mastheads as well as that the library was easily accessible from the homepage. Our fusionCMS and design team worked so our system allows for DragonWear to easily update their mastheads and library with new seasonal videos as well as any informational or any other videos they wanted to add.
Responsive web design is an important aspect of our designs and with the videos and animations throughout the site, we were still able to create a beautiful looking and easily accessed site on any type of device. Another really cool aspect of the website is the inclusion of 360 degree views of all of the clothing, allowing consumers to truly see every part of the garment.
